Commander St. Cloud has given me the job of recruiting for the Ajax!

As TF47's Covert Operations ship, the USS Ajax is looking for a dedicated crew to assist in the amazing missions we go on. Commander St. Cloud leads us on highly classified missions that walk the very edge of Federation law.

With a highly trained and hand-picked crew, the USS Ajax traverses the Gavarian Frontier, protecting the Federation and her interests in an 80 light-year corridor between the Cardassian Union and the Romulan Star Empire.

The USS Columbia, recently reactivated from the mothballs and placed within Task Force 93 under the command of Commodore Bradley J. Harrison is in need of someone to take on the position of Chief Science Officer while we work our way through the Romulan Neutral Zone. The USS Columbia is a Play by Forum (PbF) Role-playing game and is currently a member of Bravo Fleet's Task Force 93 - Starfleet's Exploratory and Advanced Research Command Headquarters. The USS Charon flew back through the gateway. Its battered and bruised hull limping by its single working warp nacelle. On board people had been killed. Bodies strewn across the corridors in what would never be bought to public view. Three survived.

== Present day ==

"Come in!" Carl sat back in the chair as the door opened. Casey walked in and nodded to his dad. "How ya feeling son?"

"Still get nightmares to be honest. I'm dealing with it though." Casey stated, sitting down on the empty seat adjacent to the desk. "All those people, and all because of us."

"We did what we had to do to ensure the security of the Federation." Carl said, raising his hands and clasping them together.

"So I keep saying to myself, but its not right." The anger built up with Casey. His genetic modifications didnt usually show it, but over the last three weeks he had been restless.

Carl stood up, pushing himself on the desk. Walking over to the replicator he ordered a soft drink for him and a glass of water for Casey. Picking them up off the materialiser, he moved over and placed them both on the desk before looking out the window to the Charon. "She got beat up pretty bad."

"Its been through hell. I cant believe Starfleet is rebuilding her." Casey picked up the water and sipped it a little before placing it back on the desk. "Im not sure if the next crew will want to serve aboard her if they knew what had happened."

Carl turned sharply and glanced back at Casey. "No one will know. They cant. What we did would be a field day with the press and possibly bring the entire Federation down to civil war."

"Yeah, I know, thats why Im not saying a word about it."

"Good lad." Carl smiled, knowing he could trust his son. Hell, over the last few months, he is the only person he could really trust. The last few months were full of betrayal from allies as well as ship mates.

The communicator beeped as Carl put his hand on Caseys shoulder and a young mans voice came over. "Captain, you have an incoming transmission from command. Its coded, priority one."

"Acknowledged, I'll take it in here." Carl said, rubbing his hand on his sons shoulder. "Casey, get some rest.I'll meet you tonight for dinner?"

"Sure dad. See you later on." Casey stood up and turned to walk out the office. The doors slid open and the closed behind him as Carl walked round the desk, turning on the computer.

The Solaria Nebula, it was one of the first things Starfleet came across when it entered the region of space known as The Round Table in the Delta Quadrant. And yet to this day it remains one of the least explored areas of space in the region, mainly due to the plasma storms that make piloting a ship through the Nebula horrendous, bordering on suicidal at times. But now the Perseus had been ordered to chart the Nebula, and search for more possible Iconian artifacts, deeper in the region than any ship has gone before. With the possibility of being cut off from other ships of Task-Force 38, by the storms, and flying in a region of space almost as hostile as the badlands, not mention the possible inhabitants, The Perseus is not for the faint of heart.

The Perseus is a Play-By-Forum, Explorer Class Starship in Bravo Fleet's Task Force 38, and just getting started in it's adventure. Our goal is to create an atmosphere that takes the best from Star Trek, and add a little fun, humor, and good writing into the mix! The Ship is currently in drydock awaiting the arrival of her crew before making her way to the Union Gateway, and into the Delta Quadrant.

Some of the big ones I'm looking to fill are:
Executive Officer- Please P.M here if you're interested in this position, so we can work all the details out.
Chief Flight Control Officer- Piloting through the Nebula won't be a cake walk! We need a skilled pilot at the Helm!
Chief Science Officer- It is a Scientific Expedition after all!
Chief Operations Officer- Making sure the sensors are calibrated right, is a surprisingly difficult and important task while navigation a Plasma Storm....
Chief Engineer- We won't be able to scurry back to Starbase if we get damaged, we need a ChEng who knows his/her stuff!
Civilian Positions- The Perseus being on a mission of science has a large number of Civilian positions available, from the bar manager, to a civilian scientist, to a Federation New's Correspondent. PM me for more details.

As I said before though all positions are open at this time, and we can use just about any of them in our adventures! The key thing for the Perseus is create a unique, fun, writing enviroment for all.
